MFA Launches
Veg-Friendly Ohio Campaign

Eating healthy, humane, and environmentally-friendly meals has just gotten easier with the launch of MFA's new veg-friendly Ohio campaign. The campaign encourages local restaurants to advertise and broaden their vegan selections for the convenience of their patrons. Veg-friendly establishments and health food stores across Ohio are now decorated with the campaign's "proud to be veg-friendly" window decals.

As part of this proactive campaign, MFA has launched VegOhio.com, a one-stop online vegetarian guide to eating in Ohio. The site details information about vegetarian friendly restaurants, health food stores, and animal rights organizations across Ohio. 

The demand for vegetarian and vegan meals has increased drastically in recent years. The National Restaurant Association has found that one in five consumers actively search for a vegetarian option on the menu and one in three will order a vegetarian entree if available.
