Lydia Chaudry serves full-time as Mercy For Animals' New York Campaign Coordinator, where she works with local advocates in the nation's most populous city to promote the organization's mission.

As a graduate of the plant food-based Chef's Training Program at The Natural Gourmet's Institute for Health & Culinary Arts, Lydia has taught vegan cooking classes and performed cooking demos to help others adopt a humane and healthy diet.

An outspoken advocate for animals and veganism for over a decade, Lydia has worked diligently to publicize the plight of factory farmed animals by organizing vegan food festivals, giving humane education presentations, conducting educational video screenings, leafleting, and organizing other events in New York city and throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
