    Tell Inspector General John Maffei that, as a concerned citizen, you demand that the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) terminate NuCal Foods' and Gemperle Enterprises' status as an approved egg vendor to federal procurement programs.

  • Help Ban New Factory Farms in Ohio - Sign the petition to Ohio Governor Ted Strickland urging him to ban new factory farms. Mercy For Animals will hand-deliver your comments to the Governor and everyone who participates will be emailed a special video.
  • Hold Trader Joe's Accountable – Although Trader Joe's recently announced its noble move to sever ties with Gemperle Enterprises following MFA's investigation, the company has still failed to adopt a policy against battery cage eggs.

    Battery cages – which deny birds the ability to walk, stretch their wings, or engage in any other basic movements – are inherently cruel.

    Please thank Trader Joe's for dumping Gemperle Enterprises as a supplier, but urge the company to follow the lead of Whole Foods by adopting a strict policy against the sale of eggs from hens confined in battery cages.
