On August 7, 2002 MFA activists distributed hundreds of educational booklets detailing the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of a vegan diet to Cincinnati residents. On hand was MFA's new Faunette, a mobile TV unit, donated by Ooh-Mah-Nee Farm Sanctuary, that airs shocking factory farming and slaughterhouse footage. The response to the Faunette was amazing as crowds gathered to witness the often unseen suffering that goes into the production of meat, dairy, and egg products.
