Every day more and more people are making the switch to a compassionate diet for the animals, the planet -- and for human health.

Join hundreds of health-conscious folks at this year's Green Synergy Festival , from August 20 to August 22, to learn how you can expand your message of compassion. An all-vegan event, Green Synergy Festival brings together a number of speakers to give attendees the latest information on raw foods nutrition, fitness and food preparation; all on 400 acres of wild nature preserve in southwestern Michigan.

Mercy For Animals’ Chicago Campaign Coordinator, Kenny Torrella, will be giving a workshop entitled “Effective Advocacy for Animals.” MFA will also have a table at the festival.

A portion of each ticket sold at this year's festival will benefit MFA's work to help animals, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible!

The D.C. VegFest is a FREE outdoor festival celebrating the very best of everything vegetarian in and around the nation's capital. There are so many reasons to choose a vegetarian diet—for our health, the planet, and animals—and Washington, D.C. offers wonderful opportunities to explore meatless cuisine.

This event highlights how easy and delicious it is to choose vegetarian foods in and around the nation's capital. Co-hosted by Compassion Over Killing and the Vegetarian Society of D.C., this festival celebrates the city’s diverse animal-friendly cuisine and the many benefits of a plant-based diet. Featuring speakers, cooking demonstrations, free food samples, and dozens of exhibitors, including Mercy For Animals and area food vendors, the D.C. VegFest has something for everyone to enjoy!
