On September 10, 2003 members of Mercy For Animals distributed hundreds of informational Why Vegan? booklets to downtown Dayton pedestrians. MFA's Faunette was on hand, airing graphic undercover video footage depicting the systematic abuse of animals in "modern" factory farms and slaughterhouses.
