The fur industry would like you to believe that fur is glamorous, but there is absolutely nothing glamorous about cruelty to animals. Animals on fur farms spend their entire lives confined to tiny, filthy cages, and their misery only ends when they are killed by gassing, anal or vaginal electrocution, or having their necks broken--all inhumane methods used to avoid damaging the fur pelts. Animals trapped in the wild for their fur suffer in traps for hours or even days before having their chests stomped on or their necks broken by trappers.

These abuses, suffered by over 5 million animals every year, is what compelled Mercy For Animals to launch it’s new anti-fur TV advertising campaign. The commercial takes viewers behind the scenes, exposing the routine abuse of animals farmed and trapped for fur. Please, don't buy fur or fur trim.
